Somatic Stress Release™

Release Stress Held in the Body | Nervous System-Centered Support

Somatic Stress Release™ is a gentle, body-centered practice that helps release stored stress, tension, and emotional holding — supporting your nervous system’s natural ability to regulate, soften, and restore balance.

This work meets you in the body, where stress actually lives — offering a grounded, compassionate pathway back to steadiness, presence, and ease.

A slow, respectful approach — nothing forced, nothing to fix.

Why Somatic Stress Release™?

Stress is not inherently bad. It’s a biological response designed to help us respond to life’s challenges.

But when stress doesn’t complete its natural cycle in the body, it can linger as:

  • constant muscle tension

  • chronic cortisol activation

  • emotional stuckness

  • digestive strain

  • interrupted sleep

  • nervous system dysregulation

Somatic Stress Release™ helps you:

  • recognize internal stress responses

  • mobilize stuck energy in the body

  • complete stress response cycles

  • restore ease, flow, and nervous system balance

It’s not just talk — it’s felt, embodied transformation.

What Happens in a Session

Each session unfolds uniquely to meet what is present in your body, nervous system, and lived experience right now.

Here’s how a session typically flows:

1. Grounded Arrival
We begin together, in person or online, creating a safe, calming space for your nervous system to settle.

2. Curious Dialogue
A brief conversation allows us to explore what you want to work on in the session — what your body, mind, or nervous system is holding right now.

3. Nervous System-Led Exploration
Using your felt sense — the physical sensations in your body — we follow cues of tension, pressure, restlessness or holding. Somatic work recognizes that the body speaks first.

4. Gentle Release + Restoration
Sessions may include:

  • breathwork

  • gentle movement

  • guided sensing

  • sound

  • mindful embodiment

  • meditative grounding

Your body and nervous system lead the process. It may be active or quiet — the right blend for you in this moment.
